HELLO AND WELCOME TO STATIC AGE!!

Static Age is an idea that came along in my second year of university. A friend of mine, Evan, and I were working together for a project and we wanted to create a podcast that specialised in both alt music and horror, as these are both huge passions for the two of us. Plus, the two work side in side perfectly and work together well. In result of this, we created the Static Age Cast and created our first podcast episode. (We got the name Static Age from the 1997 album Static Age, by The Misfits). Sadly, we kind of just... left it as that, due to other projects for the university course and getting busier and busier. We never made the episode public. Now I’m in third year, and Evan has gone on to do things in TV and radio at a different campus... So, for now, it will solely be me working on the magazines and website. But now, I’ve had another opportunity to revive Static Age, and make it bigger and better than just a podcast. It’s going to be more than that. Fuck just leaving the idea to rot away and never see the light of day, this is something I’m extremely passionate about and I am more than sure that there’s many of you out there who have the same passion, who would love to read these magazines. I’m making these magazines not only as a way to share my opinions about how much I really fucking love horror and music, but also, as a way for other likeminded people to be entertained, read and interact with things that they also have a passion for! Even if you’re not a fan of alt music or horror, give this a go and I may change your mind!
